Community Agreement & Terms of Use

A shared understanding for all who gather within these walls of light.

Welcome

Soma Home Temple is a living sanctuary — a place to rest, create, and remember the sacredness of being human. By booking or using the space, you become part of our community of care. This agreement protects the energy, safety, and harmony of the temple for everyone who enters.

House Guidelines

Please honour the calm and purity of the temple:

  • - No smoking, alcohol, or recreational substances — inside or outside.

  • - Remove shoes before entering the wellness spaces.

  • - Outside catering is welcome with prior notice.

  • - All props and equipment returned neatly to shelves after use.

  • - All rubbish placed in the outside recycling bins provided.

  • - Keys returned to the key safe and numbers scrambled when leaving.

  • - Plants and lighting are part of the temple’s design — please do not move them.

Using the Space

Every facilitator becomes a temporary steward of the temple. We ask that you approach your

time here with presence and care — arriving early to ground yourself before guests arrive.

Please book extra time for setup and integration so you can settle the energy of the space and

prepare to deliver your healing work with ease and focus.

As part of our shared agreement, you also agree to:

  • - Hold valid certification, insurance, and qualifications for the activities you offer.

  • - Use the space only for the purpose shared with the Temple Keepers.

  • - Treat the space and those within it with care, respect, and professionalism.

  • - Return all mats, cushions, and props clean and neatly stored.

  • - Keep candles unlit (incense is permitted with mindfulness).

  • - Unplug heaters after use — never connect them through extension cables.

  • - Take full responsibility for personal belongings.

  • - Remove all items at the end of your session — storage is not available.-

  •   Contact Rachel upon departure so the building can be secured.

  • - Never leave front doors propped open or unattended.

  • - Lost keys incur a £120 replacement fee.

Deposits, Payments & Cancellations

A 50% non-refundable deposit confirms your booking. The balance is due 7 days before your

event. Once paid, bookings are non-refundable and non-changeable. Regular weekly or

monthly sessions must be paid in full at the start of each month. If your booking overruns the

reserved time, an additional £60 per hour overtime fee applies. If we ever need to postpone due

to unforeseen maintenance or emergencies, we’ll work with you to reschedule smoothly.

Membership & Data

By booking or attending, you become a member of the Soma h■■e Temple community. Your

details are held securely on our Members’ Register in accordance with GDPR. We respect your

privacy — your data will never be shared. You’ll receive only occasional updates about temple

events and member-only gatherings. You may request removal from our register at any time.

Health & Safety

You are responsible for your group’s wellbeing during your booking. Please:

- Run sessions in line with health and safety legislation and best practice.

- Sign the indemnity form protecting Soma Home Temple from liability for injury or loss.

- Record any accidents in the book beside the first-aid kit (located in the kitchen) and inform

  Rachel.

- Familiarise yourself with the fire exits and meeting point in the private car park.

- If you host children or vulnerable adults, ensure all relevant DBS checks are current.

  Breakages, Losses & Damages

Respect for the temple extends to its physical form. You are responsible for the cost of repair or

replacement if any damage or loss occurs — including floors, furnishings, props, plants, and

fittings. Please report any incidents as soon as possible so they can be addressed with grace,

not surprise.

Photography & Filming

The temple welcomes honest sharing of its beauty — within reason. You may photograph your

event for personal or social media use. Please credit @soma.h0me when posting publicly.

Commercial shoots or film projects require prior written approval.

Termination of Use

Soma Home Temple reserves the right to refuse or cancel bookings if the space or its ethos are

not respected. In the rare event of urgent maintenance or building issues, sessions may need

to be rescheduled — we’ll always communicate promptly and fairly.

Our Evolving Temple

recognised place of worship. This transition supports our vision of long-term community

stewardship — ensuring the temple, its land, and its offerings are held in trust for the benefit of

contribute to this shared purpose.
